Yes. I want to help provide a safe space for all affected by life-threatening illness.

Every week, people arrive at Friends In Deed newly diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening physical illnesses… overwhelmed with the challenges of being the caregiver, family or friend of someone who is ill… and dealing with grief. Many thousands of at-risk teens also benefit from our HIV prevention program.

ALL OF OUR SERVICES ARE FREE-OF-CHARGE. Your gift helps cover the cost of the hands-on work we do every day:

$50 A visit to help someone who is homebound or hospitalized. $100 A bodywork session for someone in need. $150 A one-on-one counseling session for someone in crisis. $300 Lunch for clients attending weekly support meetings. $500 A workshop or seminar with an expert, dealing with nutrition, medical advances, grief & loss, stress reduction, and more. $600 An HIV prevention group for teens at a New York City Public School. $750 One "Big Group" - A starting point where the transformation from fear and isolation to hope and possibility begins. $1500 All of Friends' services for one person for one year.
